In January 2010 FLACQ.nl was founded by Jim Zeck and Sabine Bleumink after finishing their second study at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI) in 2009. Their first collection was launched last September 2010, and since then they have consistently launched wonderful knitwear for men, season after season.

The brand FLACQ is named after a district in the east of Mauritius, a tropical island in the Indian Ocean. Zeck and Bleumink drew their inspiration from this fantastic island, having the time of their lives during a semester-long internship with a Mauritian clothing brand.
